To tackle this challenge, we explored action cameras, streaming protocols, and media servers. We built an app that lets technicians start a live stream with a single tap, no configuration needed. They can invite colleagues to join the stream, which is automatically recorded for later.
Along the way, we added features like live drawing and marking on the video for both streamers and viewers. Users can also take snapshots, add tags, and track the technician's location via live GPS.
